Realm to have its IDO on Polkastarter

Realm platform has just announced that they will do their IDO (Initial Decentralised Offering) on Polkastarter. It is an NFT play-to-earn platform allowing gamers, artists, and collectors to create their own NFT micro verses.

The platform will initiate its IDO for their native token $REALM on Polkastarter. $REALM token is a cross-chain token functioning as the primary utility token in the Realm Metaverse. The company has planned several use-cases for their native token:

  • Purchases in realms: Players can use $REALM to purchase NFTix or access other realms. They can also purchase in-game consumables and cosmetic items and land in the Metropolis.
  • Rewards: Players earn rewards in the form of $REALM for interacting with the Metaverse. This includes creating and mastering realms, exploring other realms, discovering eggs with rare NFTs, and loot box rewards.
  • Staking: Players staking $REALM will receive rewards and in-game advantages. Rewards include $REALM tokens, limited edition Layer 2 NFTs, and access to exclusive realms and content.
  • Governance: Players holding $REALM tokens gives them key voting rights on major decisions about the future direction and development of the Realm ecosystem.

The company had had terrific investments before and had recently closed its first investment round at $2.25 million. They’ve also broken the Launchpool AME records with the most $LPOOL staked at around $2.23 million.

Realm is already integrated with Polygon and Chainlink. Moreover, the company also has partnerships with Reef Chain.

In the future, Realm is trying to connect with various NFT artists for collaborations. Moreover, they are already in touch with KidEight and are in the process of connecting many more.
